This week, we were joined by Joe, Ben, Tyler and Brody from multi-award winning band Niil. FRANCES: So how does it feel to be the biggest grunge band of the modern era? JOE: Well to be honest, I don't really enjoy the fame. FRANCES: Really? JOE: Yeah, I mean I enjoyed being the typical guy from Seattle before this. Now I can't get a moments silence because you guys are always after me for interviews. FRANCES: What do you think of interviews? JOE: Didn't you hear me before we began? (laughs) They asked me if I wanted to do one. I said f*** no (laughs). FRANCES: What's your favourite song on the new album? BEN: I like 'social withdrawal'. DANTE: 'Mute' is my favourite from the album because it's heavy as sh**. MADICHI: 'Depressed respiration'. JOE: 'Deyki's Insomnia' because it took me five minutes to write.
