f) Music can be used for a lot of reasons in advertising to make it more effective. These include widening the target audience, making the advert memorable, entertaining the audience and increasing credibility. The lyrics may also match the tone of the advert or have some sort of lyrical context that correlates towards the message or aim of the ad.
g) An example of an 'elite' in an advert is Usain Bolt in the Virgin Media adverts. He is a very well known person and will have a great influence on the choice of Virgin Media over his fans.
