The headline for this issue of the Sun emphasises it's racist views on the Islamic people of the UK. It uses bold writing to make the story seem attractive to it's target audience. The stereotypes about this group of people show that they are right-wing. The newspaper is clearly a tabloid and this is identifiable by the large text and the big pictures. The newspaper is owned by a right-wing upper class man named Rupert Murdoch and this is where the opinions are formed.
Similarly, this newspaper uses a racist headline to please it's target audience. There is also some other aspects of this tabloid that is worth noting too. For example, the strap line uses the fact that the man killed had a foreign accent. This will grab the attention of the wing target audience and it will also grab the attention of Polish people. The standalone also features reality TV which is commonly associated with working class people.
Right-wing is an ideology which values tradition and entrepreneurship. It is hugely against change. Right-wing papers are usually against the Labour Party and Jeremy Corbyn and support parties like the Conservative party and UKIP.
This newspaper front page from the Daily Mirror uses a left-wing approach to the general election in 2017, showing success for the Labour Party and Jeremy Corbyn and the opposite for Theresa May and the Tories after they lost their majority. The Mirror felt that this was a big story as they did not use any standalone or any other features on the page. Instead, they opted to use the whole image to make it the only important thing in the news. The masthead features the phrase 'Fighting for you', implying that the Mirror is more of a working class paper. Some may even say that it is for the many, not the few.
Left-wing is an ideology that supports change for the better, it is more tolerant and supports LGBT rights. It cares more for citizens and doesn't approach the world with a 'hunger games' approach style where it doesn't matter if people die or not.
